Port Congestion Surcharge (PCS):
As the port is crowded or particularly busy, the waiting time and sailing period will be extended. The price rising of tugs may lead to a significant increase in shipping costs. In order to compensate for the cost of the loss, the carriers would like  to collect the port congestion surcharge from the shipper. PCS is constantly adjusted at different times depending on the port, and sometimes the cost is even higher than the freight Therefore, in accounting for logistics costs, we must try to consider all, so as to avoid unnecessary losses.
